McCafé MENA – “Moments of Sun
McDonald’s McCafé set out to create a culturally rooted campaign across the MENA region, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Africa, by tapping into a powerful daily rhythm: the sun. In Islamic culture, the sun marks prayer times, reflection, and gratitude. We saw an opportunity to connect those sacred pauses to the quiet joy of a McCafé moment.
The How
We built a serene, cinematic campaign that celebrated sunlight as a spiritual guide and McCafé as a companion to those meaningful moments. The work spanned digital film, social storytelling, and local influencer content timed with sunrise and sunset, aligning McCafé with the beauty of daily rituals and the emotion of stillness.
The Why
Rather than push product, we embraced presence. By aligning with prayerful pauses and moments of stillness, McCafé didn’t just offer coffee, it offered companionship in reflection. This respectful, resonant approach made the brand feel human, intentional, and deeply embedded in the daily lives of Muslim consumers.
